The new B5TV.COM is here. We've replaced our 16 year old software with flashy new XenForo install. Registration is open again. Password resets will work again. More info here.
When purchasing old movies on DVD from Amazon.com or B&N, it doesn't really tell you much about the DVD contents (IE: TV Series how many episodes, special Features, etc).
Anyone know a good site for finding out what a DVD or DVD set contains?
There will usually be a listing on the studio's website of all of the contents, i.e MGM, Univeral etc.
Sites I know such as http://www.r2-dvd.org/ are ok, but mainly focus on upcoming releases. (And it's R2, as you may have guessed).
Most e-tailers do a better job of listing the contents then Amazon. See play.com for example. TV box sets will (at a minimum) list the total number of episodes if not a list of the actual episode names. Sometimes there is even a synopsis for each episode, but that's a bit more rare.
So you should usually check out the info on other sites selling it if Amazon doesn't have the stuff you need.
Also review sites such digitalbits.com, www.tvshowsondvd.com etc may have valuable info if they have reviewed the disk.
