Babylon 5 novels and graphic novels

D20 System is a system of game mechanics for role-playing games and is based on the third edition of Dungeons & Dragons. The system is named after the 20-sided die which is central to the core mechanics of the system. (wikipedia copy-paste) I have only played computer Dungeons & Dragons games...

Babylon 5 novels and graphic novels

My opinion to Telepath trilogy is the same (replacing technomage=telepath) :) One of my favorite B5 characters is Kevin Vacit, that tells a lot how much i liked it. I would certainly be happy if new novels feature telepaths. For example story about centauri teeps would be fantastic.

Babylon 5 novels and graphic novels

It's a matter of taste, but i found Keyes Telepath Trilogy to be very high quality writing. Maybe his style just suited me, but the depth and characterization in Telepath trilogy was much deeper than in other B5 books.

    24: Season 4 (SPOILERS)

I was quite dissapointed with this episode. It was everything i don't like about 24: over-the-top action scenes and drama, unreal use of tehnology etc. This hour was very predictable.

Babylon 5 novels and graphic novels

Great news. :) I think Mongoose is good choise. I might be in minority here, but as someone in Mongoose boards said, i hope these novels won't be "another adventures of tv characters". It would be nice to have cameo roles, but what i'm looking forward is exploring B5 world. Maybe a story about...

JMS - Reputation (relating to potential projects)

Re: JMS - Reputation (relating to potential projec I might be in minority here but IMHO the best case scenario for creative standpoint would be if JMS would not be show-runner but the "second man" or co-showrunner. My dream scenario would be JMS as main scriptwriter (as EP) in Whedon run scifi...

Smallville (How many have fallen for their scam?)

Re: Smallville (How many have fallen for their sca To make it clear...while i like Kreuk (not only looks but her acting), Lana character is the most annoying and stupid character in any TV show i have ever seen. :p

Smallville (How many have fallen for their scam?)

Re: Smallville (How many have fallen for their sca In this case no (not directly), but i somehow agree to you.

    The SF Book thread

I read the Gollancz (England) paperback edition, damn that US hardcover artwork is very nice but price is 15$ higher. It's not the Hyperion quality but i kind of liked it. Same old Simmons. First book i have read with 9/11 reference (or was it Iraq war, don't remember anymore). That's the main...

Smallville (How many have fallen for their scam?)

Re: Smallville (How many have fallen for their sca Sort of. With the Lana part. I don't read comics and don't know much of the Superman backstory, but i really like the 'Superman backstory' part of the show. Season4 is the first season i have followed closely and kind of hoped it would be less...

    The SF Book thread

I'm not frequent SF reader, but after all the praise i have heard about Banks i read his "Use of Weapon" and didn't liked it. It wasn't complete waste of time, but it wasn't good either. I quess Banks in not my taste. :) btw in my opinion Iain M. Banks words on the cover of The Rise of...

    The SF Book thread

By far my favorite SF book series is Dan Simmons Hyperion tetralogy (Hyperion, The Fall of Hyperion, Endymion, The Rise of Endymion). Hyperion is Hugo winner; The Fall of Hyperion and The Rise of Endymion were nominated. Real masterpiece. Hard SF mixed with cyberpunk, very deep and...

Smallville (How many have fallen for their scam?)

Re: Smallville (How many have fallen for their sca Last ep was actualy quite good. Not only because Kreuk got plenty of screentime but plot was quite decent. :)

Smallville (How many have fallen for their scam?)

Re: Smallville (How many have fallen for their sca It's starting to turn into crap. I liked the season premiere but it's all downhill after that. Only reason i still watch it is Kristin Kreuk and Superman myth. But even Kreuk starts to get annoying thanks to supersilly plot.

    Not-quite-recurring-enough Characters

How the hell is Bester not the recurring character? He is the definition of the recurring character. To answer your question: clear NO. Every recurring character had it's own story and purpose.

    Battlestar Galactica Eps 1 & 2

Couldn't agree more. No worries US fans, it keeps getting better and better :) All blame to SFC if this don't get good ratings.

My Centauri Trilogy Review *Slight Spoilers*

Telepath trilogy is my favorite, highly recomended. Centauri books are very good read but are sometimes a little dull. It feels like random B5 episode and that isn't always a good thing. What i liked about Telepath trilogy is that it is more independent trilogy with it's own beginning, middle...
