My biggest gripe with the episode is the absurd notion that G'Kar, at that point in his character's arc, would be reticent -- frightened, even! -- to face the spiritual unknown. Bah, humbug!

Re: What were the \"worst\" B-5 Episodes? The thing is, even the weakest episodes have their good points. "Grey 17" has the Marcus and Neroon storyline, and "Infection" sets up one of the most important points in the entire 5-year arc (the use of organic technology to make destructive machinery).

Hi, Dayton3. I liked the Rangers pilot just fine. It certainly stood up as well as the B5 pilot, "The Gathering," and looked to be a promising starting point for an interesting series. While it definitely had its flaws, I don't think that you can make too much of the bit about "the Hand"...
