I don't know about anyone else, I find when these arguments go on too long I stop reading. Nothing changes. Each party goes on believing they are right and the rest of us get bored
As a long time Trek fan who has seen every episode of every series I can't see why people continue to argue about Trek vs B5. They are both scifi series. If we enjoy them we watch. If we don't we hit the remote and turn to something else.
I'm sure the producers on both shows are doing their level best to entertain us and keep out attention. Why try to compare them. Let's hope the new Enterprise is a good show because then we'll have another scifi series to watch. Let's hope that either Crusade or Rangers come on as a series. Let's stop arguing
