Little Markab Girl

Yeah, Flipper....
I found that site....didn't say much and there were no pix. I expect she actually has a nose to go with that unusual name.

Is a gig with the Olsen Twins considered a come down after B5? I know that there had to have been less latex involved!

Who knows, with the way the Olsen twins are heading... latex soft core porn seems to be in their future!

I saw some promos for their latest show, So Little Time, and it seemed to be more proof of the fall of civilization than Jerry Springer!

I'm still very happy at the minimal amounts of children on B5 - only Believers and Legacies come to mind - especially after re-watching ST: TNG season 1, and ST: Generations. Picard's "nexus" has forever ruined the character for me.

I totally agree with Bt being very nearly childless. I found the 2 kids in ITB to help the story nicely.

Till Wesley grew up some, I found him pretty annoying! ;)

It wasn't merely the scarcity of children during the series run. You also have to consider their fates. For example:

Shon ("Believers") - killed by his parents.
Kid in Commercial ("And Now For a Word") - taken by Psi Corps.
Little Markab Girl ("Confessions and Lamentations") - died of Drafa.
Simon the Teep ("No Compromises") - blasted.

You think maybe JMS doesn't like kids much? :)

And the two Centauri kids -- useful though they were -- were caught in the middle of the Drakh-Londo conflict. Not the healthiest place to be.

But I did like the Centauri girl, especially the comments made to and about her:

"She wants a real story."
"The quiet ones change the universe. The loud ones simply get the credit."

Good point, MartinRoth! He doesn't use kids as "fluff", he uses them to advance the story. And only then.
