Londo's fourth wife

Londo\'s fourth wife

I watched In the Beginning again the other day and caught something that I hadn't caught before. I can't remember exactly which scene it was, but I think it was when Londo was talking to the girl that was watching after the two kids. He said something about having had four wives in his life. We know from Soul Mates that three of his wives were Timov, Daggair, and Mariel, so who was the fourth?

Re: Londo\'s fourth wife

Londo's fourth wife, if I remember correctly, was a dancer whom he fell very deeply in love with (no, I'm not talking about Lady Adira). Londo's family felt marrying a dancer was beneath him and forced him to divorce her. (Again, this is if I remember correctly.)

Re: Londo\'s fourth wife

After a bit of poking around on the Lurker's Guide, I found this quote to cite for evidence of my statement above.

Londo's first wife was a dancer, as he mentioned to Garibaldi in "A Voice in the Wilderness, part 1." His family later forced him to divorce her; they claimed she wasn't of a high enough social class and threatened to strip him of his inheritance if he didn't obey.

The above quote was found on the Lurker's Guide Page for "The Very Long Night of Londo Mollari".

Re: Londo\'s fourth wife

Thanks for your help. I remember that now. There's so much stuff in B5 that it's hard to remember every little detail, even when I have the first three seasons on DVD. :D

Re: Londo\'s fourth wife

You're welcome; I'm glad I was able to help. I do agree: there are a lot of intricate, but fun, details to the whole Babylon 5 story. :)

Re: Londo\'s fourth wife

Yep, Londo's first wife. His only marriage for love.

"Vir, my shoes are too tight, and I have forgotten how to dance."
