The rising of Stargate Atlantis

So Atlantis is in the bottom of the ocean and then it magically rises up.

and the water is dripping off of it. Off the decks and sides.

Now,, there's suppose to be a shield holding back the water. So why is there water on the deck?

And there's no dust or cobwebs - everything looks brand new for 1000 year old city.

Maybe things work differently in the Pegasus Galaxy.

It's been a while since I watched it but I thought the shields were failing throughout the city... some buildings & parts of the city were submerged.
